Job summary

FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial function on high-value MEP and Data Centre projects based in Bank, London. You will oversee budgets, forecasts and final accounts while developing a team of Quantity Surveyors.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will drive commercial strategy across UK and EMEA, manage procurement, risk and contract administration, and work closely with Project Managers and clients to maximise

Qualifications

• Significant experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the MEP sector.
• Proven Data Centre experience essential for this role.
• Experience managing complex, high-value MEP projects with multiple simultaneous projects.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and development of Quantity Surveyors.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and provide commercial leadership.
• Oversee commercial and financial performance of multiple MEP/Data Centre projects.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cost plans and commercial strategies.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, CVRs, forecasts and P&L information.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Lead commercial assessments of bids and future project opportunities.
• Manage procurement strategies, subcontractor agreements and material orders.
• Undertake contract administration including valuations, variations and final accounts.
