Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of mechanical, electrical and HVAC projects. You will take commercial responsibility for costs, budgets and forecasts through the full project lifecycle.

Key duties include valuing work, producing final accounts, negotiating variations and claims, managing subcontractor accounts and supporting procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor in mechanical, electrical or building services projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, valuations and variations.
• Experience with final accounts, subcontractor management and contract administration (JCT/NEC).

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of M&E and HVAC projects.
• Manage costs, budgets and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare valuations and final accounts, negotiate variations and claims.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and assist procurement.
• Administer JCT and NEC contracts and monitor commercial risks.
