Job summary

Kier Group, a leading construction and infrastructure company, is seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager to join our Southern region Kier Mechanical & Electrical team. Based in Chandlers Ford/Gosport, you will lead day-to-day pre-construction and construction activities for projects valued up to £45m, delivering safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

• CSCS card and SMSTS qualification, with professional qualifications or membership in progress.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager with knowledge of contract conditions and construction law.
• Excellent communicator able to influence at all levels and build collaborative relationships.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness with commitment to health, safety and risk management.
• Highly organised, proactive and driven to achieve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, health, environmental and wellbeing culture across all project activities.
• Manage project delivery to execution plans, ensuring design, programme and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Oversee project finances, revenue, costs and cashflow to maximise profitability.
• Lead and support the project team with clear communication and regular performance reviews.

We're looking for a Senior MEP Project Manager to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team based in our Southern region.

As a Senior MEP Project Manager, you'll lead day-to-day pre-construction and construction activities for projects valued up to £45m. Working within our Kier Mechanical & Electrical business, you'll be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical team, supporting them in delivering complex MEP design and build projects. Your day to day will include:

• Leading safety, health, environmental and wellbeing culture across all project activities
• Managing project delivery to agreed execution plans, ensuring compliance with design, programme and quality standards
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
• Overseeing project finances, revenue, costs and cashflow to maximise profitability
• Leading and supporting your project team, ensuring clear communication and regular performance reviews

• You hold a CSCS card and SMSTS qualification, with relevant professional qualifications or working towards membership of a professional body
• You have proven experience as a Project Manager with strong knowledge of contract conditions and construction law
