Job summary

Kier Mechanical & Electrical in the Southern region is seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager to lead pre-construction and construction activities for projects up to £45m. Based in Chandlers Ford/Gosport, you will deliver safely, on time, within budget and to high standards, coordinating internal teams and external partners.

You'll oversee day-to-day project delivery, manage subcontractors, and ensure contract compliance, with a focus on safety and commercial performance.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and SMSTS qualification are required.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager with contract conditions knowledge.
• Ability to communicate clearly and build relationships.

We're looking for a Senior MEP Project Manager to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team based in our Southern region.

Location: Chandlers Ford/Gosport

As a Senior MEP Project Manager, you'll lead day-to-day pre-construction and construction activities for projects valued up to £45m. Working within our Kier Mechanical & Electrical business, you'll be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Whatwill you be responsible for?

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical team, supporting them in delivering complex MEP design and build projects. Your day to day will include:

• Leading safety, health, environmental and wellbeing culture across all project activities
• Managing project delivery to agreed execution plans, ensuring compliance with design, programme and quality standards
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
• Overseeing project finances, revenue, costs and cashflow to maximise profitability
• Leading and supporting your project team, ensuring clear communication and regular performance reviews

• You hold a CSCS card and SMSTS qualification, with relevant professional qualifications or working towards membership of a professional body
• You have proven experience as a Project Manager with strong knowledge of contract conditions and construction law

• You have sound commercial and contractual awareness with a commitment to health, safety and risk management
• You're highly organised, proactive and driven to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction
