Job summary

Crown House Technologies, part of the Laing O'Rourke Group, is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Planner to lead the planning and controls on a major Lancashire project. The role sits between our Manchester office and the project office during enabling works, with main works due Feb 2029 and completion in Q4 2031.

You will oversee MEP sequencing, develop and maintain the Contract Programme, coordinate across design, procurement, construction and the supply chain, and support early

Qualifications

• Senior-level planning experience on complex construction or MEP projects.
• Strong MEP sequencing, buildability and programme knowledge.
• Experience with project/programme controls and forecasting.
• Pre-construction, design, procurement and construction planning experience.
• Strong client and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to spot programme issues and turn them into workable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and programme coordination.
• Develop and maintain the Contract Programme and Programme to Build.
• Plan across design, procurement, construction and short-term delivery.
• Develop logical, efficient and buildable construction sequences.
• Monitor progress and identify risks, opportunities and potential delays.
• Provide programme analysis, forecasting and practical mitigation plans.
• Advise on the commercial and programme impact of project decisions.
• Work directly with the client, project team, stakeholders and supply chain.
• Support and develop other planners within the team.
• Drive improvements in planning, controls and project delivery.
