Job summary

MiCiM is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join our expert team in the UK, based in Reading. You will coordinate design, installation, testing and commissioning of mission-critical facilities, leading on-site mechanical and electrical activities and ensuring quality, safety and performance.

The role requires a strong hands-on engineering background and proven MEP leadership on data centres or similar projects, with the ability to manage complex interfaces and represent MiCiM to clients and

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in large-scale MEP delivery.
Proven track record as MEP Manager on data centres or mission-critical projects.
Ability to lead cross-trade interfaces and drive performance.
Strong communication and representation of MiCiM to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical and electrical activities on-site.
Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of MEP packages.
Review designs, method statements, and submittals to ensure client specifications and data centre standards are met.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and drive issue resolution to maintain schedule and cost performance.
Oversee installation quality, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
Act as key MEP point of contact with the client, project management team and stakeholders.
Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to MiCiM and HSE requirements.
