Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Plymouth invites applications for a Senior or Principal Electrical Design Engineer within its growing MEP (Building Services) team.

You will lead multidisciplinary projects from inception through to detailed design, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with architects and other specialists. You will champion high-quality outputs, manage design calculations, and contribute to process improvements while supporting the team’s budget and programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Services design.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary MEP projects from concept to detail design.
• Mentor junior engineers and support chartership routes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of projects including team, deliverables, resourcing and budget.
• Develop mechanical concepts and detailed designs to required standards.
• Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support MEP lead with resource planning and quality assurance.
