Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Mental Health Practitioners (Band 6) to join the new Initial Response Service in Norwich. You will undertake rapid mental health and risk assessments, provide leadership, and work within a 24/7 multidisciplinary team to triage urgent referrals and support service users at the point of access.

This permanent, full-time or part-time role offers a structured development pathway, training, and opportunities to influence service delivery.

Formación

• Ability to assess service users quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Ability to determine appropriate action from multiple options.
• Clear written and verbal communication of assessment outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake telephone/digital triage assessments for mental health needs.
• Complete holistic mental health and risk assessments and care plans.
• Coordinate urgent interventions and referrals for timely access to care.
• Provide supervision and support to callers and junior staff.
• Contribute to service leadership and quality improvement.
