Job summary

ExTrac AI is seeking a Senior Analyst to cover the MENA region, producing timely, evidence-based assessments in Arabic and English. You will join a fast-growing team, turning open-source data into strategic insights and contributing to ExTrac's data platform with structured outputs.

You will monitor media across languages, track violent extremist actors, and build expertise across countries and thematic areas, collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality intelligence

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional experience in intelligence analysis or related field.
• Fluency in written Arabic (MSA and dialects).
• Strong written communication with concise outputs under deadlines.
• Experience applying structured analytic methodologies to complex information.
• Experience curating and verifying online sources and datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily/weekly/monthly analytical reporting focused on MENA and VEOs.
• Translate and assess Arabic-language documents and other sources.
• Contribute to client-facing discussions, briefings, and ad hoc requests.
• Develop subject-matter expertise across designated countries, actors, and themes.
• Mentor junior analysts and support QA of outputs.
