Job summary

ExTrac AI in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Analyst to cover the MENA region. You will perform intelligence collection, analysis, and data curation in Arabic daily, turning sources into timely, evidence‑based reporting for ExTrac’s intelligence products and data platform.

The role emphasizes leading and contributing to regular reporting, translating Arabic material, and mentoring junior analysts while integrating AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in intelligence analysis or related field.
• Strong command of Modern Standard Arabic and dialects.
• Experience translating Arabic-language content.
• Experience with OSINT and structured analytical methods.
• Proven ability to produce concise, policy-relevant outputs under deadlines.
• Ability to mentor junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess political, security, and socio-economic developments across MENA.
• Lead and contribute to daily, weekly, monthly, and deep-dive reports.
• Translate Arabic documents and assess source material.
• Develop and maintain subject-matter expertise across designated countries, actors, organisations, and thematic areas.
• Maintain coverage and contribute to taxonomy and tagging decisions across MENA data.
• Support Team Lead with QA of outputs and mentor junior analysts.
