HCA Healthcare UK is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Secretary to join our Float Secretary Team in Central London. You will provide cross-cover across consultants and clinical services across multiple sites, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high patient care standards.

Responsibilities include audio-typing, managing appointments, and ensuring accurate, confidential documentation across diverse specialties.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Medical Secretary or Senior Medical Secretary in a healthcare environment.
• Strong typing and audio-typing with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to consultants and clinical teams across sites.
• Audio-type clinical and non-clinical correspondence, reports and sensitive documentation.
• Coordinate patient appointments, investigations, admissions and follow-up care.
• Prepare clinics ensuring relevant records, results and imaging are available.
• Manage patient enquiries, inboxes and telephone calls professionally.
• Arrange admissions and obtain test results, escalating urgent findings as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per standard processes.
• Prepare and manage dictated letters and clinical correspondence.
• Contribute flexibly across sites, specialties and consultant practices to ensure continuity of service.
