Job summary

Avolon M&E in Wickford, Essex, is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of mid-to-large mechanical installations across retail and commercial projects. This hybrid role includes on-site visits and responsibilities spanning planning, sequencing, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.

You will oversee workforces including sub-contractors, coordinate procurement with the commercial team, monitor budgets and schedules, resolve issues, and provide technical leadership to ensure

Qualifications

• Highly skilled at managing multiple tasks, prioritising workloads, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong emphasis on accuracy in handling project data and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and other relevant tools.
• Proactive and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Motivated to grow within the role and contribute to continuous improvement of practices and procedures

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the workforce of employed, self-employed and sub-contractors.
• Working with the commercial and procurement team to ensure material and sub-contract packages are correctly procured.
