Job summary

Avolon M&E is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the mechanical delivery on a major HS2 rail package in West London, with base in North Acton.

You will manage site delivery, coordinate engineers and subcontractors, handle procurement and design coordination, and ensure safety, quality and programme milestones. Rail experience is highly desirable; this is a long-term permanent role with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major M&E/building services projects.
• Rail project experience is highly desirable.
• Strong coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of procurement and subcontract management.
• Ability to manage programme, quality, safety and progress.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical packages and overall site delivery.
• Coordinating Construction Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Managing programme, quality, health & safety and progress.
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages.
• Technical submissions, RFIs and design coordination.
• Client and stakeholder liaison.
• Overseeing testing, commissioning and handover.
• Working closely with commercial, engineering and construction teams.
