Job summary

Avolon M&E is recruiting a Mechanical Construction Manager for major M&E packages on HS2 in West London. You will lead mechanical installation works, coordinate supervisors and subcontractors, and drive delivery to programme and quality standards.

Based across North Acton, West Ruislip and Northolt, the role requires strong safety leadership, RAMS review and handover support, with a clear path to a long-term permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical building services experience.
• Previous Mechanical Construction Manager / Mechanical Site Manager experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Experience delivering significant M&E packages.
• SMSTS and appropriate CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installation works.
• Coordinate supervisors, subcontractors and labour.
• Monitor progress against programme.
• Manage site logistics and coordination with other trades.
• Ensure installations meet drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Health & safety management.
• Review RAMS and site documentation.
• Manage snagging and completion.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover.
• Report progress to the Project Manager.
