Qualifications

• Degree-level engineering qualification and active professional registration.
• Proven track record in delivering engineering projects and leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations (CDM, PUWER, Machinery Directive).
• Experience managing budgets and schedules for complex projects.
• Ability to provide technical assurance and ensure design compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidiscipline engineering teams to deliver safe, compliant designs.
• Define engineering delivery strategies and maintain baselines for cost, scope, schedule.
• Provide technical direction and approve engineering solutions and outputs.
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations, standards and internal processes.
• Support bids and business-winning activities with technical proposals.
• Identify and mitigate risks, implementing recovery plans as needed.
• Engage with internal teams, clients and supply chain for integrated planning.
• Foster a collaborative culture and mentor team members.
