We're seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to join our client in Chorley. In this role, you'll lead and develop multidiscipline engineering teams while ensuring the compliant and safe delivery of projects from tender through to completion. Salary

£74,000 to £81,000 - depending on experience

Location and Working Pattern

Chorley, Lancashire - on-site staff position

Working week: 37 hours over 4 days (Monday to Thursday), plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidiscipline engineering teams to deliver safe, compliant designs.

• Strong knowledge of UK engineering legislation (e.g., CDM, PUWER, Machinery Directive).
• Experience managing complex projects, including budgets and schedules.
• Ability to provide technical assurance and ensure design compliance.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Previous experience in nuclear or other highly regulated industries.
• Understanding of CE/UKCA marking strategies and applicable standards.
• Familiarity with multidiscipline integration and digital engineering practices.
