Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Hessle or Grimsby with hybrid working. You will lead mechanical engineering solutions for complex projects, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You will review and approve designs, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to national infrastructure and security programmes. A BPSS clearance is required and the role offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering mechanical engineering solutions on complex projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of the mechanical engineering lifecycle from design through delivery.
• Experience reviewing technical designs, calculations and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and compliance requirements within regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions for complex projects.
