Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Hessle or Grimsby with a hybrid working arrangement. You will lead mechanical solutions for complex programmes, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering mechanical engineering solutions on complex projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of the mechanical engineering lifecycle from design through delivery.
• Experience reviewing technical designs and documentation.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and compliance in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of mechanical solutions for complex projects.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and teams to achieve outcomes.
• Review and approve technical designs, calculations and documentation.
• Ensure engineering activities meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
