ALTEN is a global engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (SolidWorks) to drive mechanical design for underwater and marine technology projects. You will own concept through to manufacture and testing, delivering detailed SolidWorks models and drawings, and working with manufacturing and test teams to realize robust solutions.

Candidates should have extensive SolidWorks experience, a strong product development background, and a proven ability to lead design activities while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical background.
• Experience delivering mechanical design solutions across projects.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities for complex products.
• Produce SolidWorks models, assemblies and drawings.
• Support design reviews and technical decisions.
• Perform engineering analysis and design assessments.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and test teams.
• Support prototype development and product improvements.
