Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in London is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to lead delivery of mechanical building-services projects, manage technical design and client relationships, and guide a multidisciplinary team toward high-quality outcomes.

You will work with Directors and senior management to shape project delivery, budgets, timelines and compliance with Building Regulations, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting business development across residential, commercial and mixed-use

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered status or actively pursuing chartership.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical building-services design from concept to construction.
• Manage projects within budgets, programmes and quality standards.
• Define technical requirements and deliverables with clients.
• Develop client relationships to generate repeat business.
• Contribute to fee proposals and presentations.
• Oversee CAD/Revit production and technical designs.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and CDM requirements.
• Support sustainability-related projects and assessments.
