Qualificações

• Experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Good working knowledge of UK building regulations, standards and design principles.
• Experience coordinating projects with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear communication skills and client-facing confidence.
• Interest in energy efficiency and sustainable design.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical building services design across a range of projects and project stages.
• Develop solutions for heating, cooling, ventilation, water services and other mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, contractors and clients to align designs and resolve challenges.
• Manage workloads, deadlines and deliverables while maintaining high quality.
• Provide technical advice and contribute to key design decisions.
• Attend design meetings and site visits to support construction.
• Review calculations, specifications and drawings for compliance with regs and standards.
• Support junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Explore opportunities to improve energy performance and sustainability.
