Job summary

AECOM in the Midlands is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and support mid-large projects within Building Services. The role requires delivering designs from concept to handover, with chartership preferred and a background in building services engineering.

The Midlands MEP team collaborates across disciplines, handling Defence, Healthcare, Education, Science, and Industrial sectors. AECOM offers a flexible hybrid model and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Passion for solving building services challenges.
• Experience in Building Services design including drawings and calculations.
• Delivery of low-energy, sustainable designs.
• UK SC clearance or ability to obtain clearance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications, schedules, drawings and other contract documents.
• Lead/me discuss mechanical design delivery from concept to completion.
• Attend project and client meetings on behalf of AECOM.
• Prepare planning, design and feasibility reports.
• Ensure work complies with the Project Management Plan and Programme.
