Zusammenfassung

AECOM is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership across a portfolio of projects from due diligence and masterplanning through detailed design and construction support.

You will work with ground, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, architects, project managers, and environmental specialists in the UK and overseas to deliver technically excellent, integrated solutions for complex developments, including data centres.

Qualifikationen

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or equivalent) or operating at chartered level with demonstrated leadership and professional authority.
• Significant experience in development-led infrastructure engineering, ideally in data centre sector.
• Experience delivering complex civil infrastructure projects with design of roads, drainage, earthworks, pavements and underground services.
• Strong knowledge of planning, highways, drainage, and utility approval processes.
• Understanding of BIM modelling and collaborative platforms.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic civil engineering leadership and technical governance for development projects.
• Lead, review and approve civil infrastructure designs and specifications for site development.
• Coordinate with other civil engineers and technical specialists across the UK and globally.
• Support client engagement, business development, and sector thought leadership while mentoring engineers.
• Undertake project management across a portfolio of schemes.
