JP Engineering in London is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead mechanical building services design across a range of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects. You will deliver designs from concept to completion, produce calculations and specifications, and liaise with clients and architects to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical building services design experience.
• Experience working within an M&E consultancy.
• Knowledge of UK building services standards and regulations.
• Excellent technical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects and work independently.
• Experience with design and calculation software.
• CIBSE membership or engineering qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical building services designs from concept through to completion.
• Produce detailed calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
• Work across commercial, residential and mixed-use projects.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Attend design and project meetings.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Take ownership of projects and ensure high-standard delivery.
• Help develop innovative and energy-efficient engineering solutions.
