Safran Seats in Cwmbran is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of seat components from concept through to manufacture, owning the technical quality of designs. You will mentor a small team of engineers and ensure solutions meet customer, regulatory and airframer requirements.

Working across multiple modules, you will drive design reviews, manage product maturity in PLM systems and ensure seamless integration within the wider project, collaborating with suppliers

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Structural Engineering or equivalent (BEng/MEng or HNC/HND with extensive experience).
• Proficient with CATIA V5 and PLM systems.
• Ability to plan design activities across modules.
• Understanding tolerances and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilités
