Job summary

Videojet Technologies, part of Veralto, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the R&D Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing team in Huntingdon. You will contribute to the design of CIJ printers, from concept to product, on site with occasional lab work and possible remote support.

The role requires several years of engineering or product development experience, proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or similar), and knowledge of GD&T and DFMEA.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong CAD skills with SolidWorks or similar.
• Experience with GD&T and DFMEA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Solving Engineering problems and developing new solutions/ideas
• Engineering development of new design, or upgrade current design
• Technical drawing and/or reports with results and analysis
• Mechanical Engineering theoretical analysis where applicable
• DFMEA and prototype and testing of design concepts
