Job summary

Videojet Technologies in Huntingdon, part of Veralto, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the R&D Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing team. The role is on site in Huntingdon, with occasional lab work; work-from-home is possible when feasible.

You will solve engineering problems, develop new designs, produce technical drawings and reports, perform GD&T analysis, and contribute to DFMEA and testing of concepts. A Mechanical Engineering degree and CAD experience (SolidWorks) are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in Engineering or product development.
• Experience with CAD, ideally SolidWorks or similar.
• Engineerin g technical detailing including GD&T, or willingness to learn.
• Good engineering skills for design and analysis of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Solving Engineering problems and developing new solutions/ideas.
• Engineering development of new design, or upgrade current design.
• Technical drawing and/or reports with results and analysis.
• Mechanical Engineering theoretical analysis where applicable.
• DFMEA and prototype and testing of design concepts.
