Job summary

Videojet Technologies, part of Veralto, seeks an Engineer for the R&D Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing team in Huntingdon. The role is based on site with occasional lab work; work-from-home is possible if suitable for the business.

You will solve engineering problems, develop new designs, produce technical drawings and reports, and perform DFMEA with prototype testing. A Mechanical Engineering degree and CAD experience are required; FEM/PSP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of experience in Engineering or product development.
• Experience in CAD, ideally SolidWorks or similar.
• GD&T knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Strong design and analytical skills for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Solving Engineering problems and developing new solutions/ideas
• Engineering development of new design, or upgrade current design
• Technical drawing and/or reports with results and analysis
• Mechanical Engineering theoretical analysis where applicable
• DFMEA and prototype and testing of design concepts
