Job summary

Code Resources LTD in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work on building services across residential, commercial, healthcare, laboratories and stadia. You will join a 20+ engineering team and contribute to design and coordination using Revit.

You will deliver mechanical systems design, review calculations, model with Revit, and coordinate with electrical BIM colleagues and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years' experience in mechanical design for building services.
• Hands-on Revit experience essential with knowledge of UK standards.
• Ability to manage design workload and collaborate across disciplines.
• Liverpool office-based role, five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical building services systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, domestic water).
• Produce calculations, equipment selections, specifications and technical schedules.
• Create and update mechanical models and drawings using Revit.
• Coordinate designs with electrical engineers, BIM colleagues and other disciplines.
• Review technical information and resolve design and coordination issues.
• Support project delivery through design reviews, technical meetings and site visits.
