Job summary

Red Rock Consultants Ltd in Leeds is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well-established building services contractor. You will lead design and delivery of mechanical building services projects, taking ownership from concept through detailed design and delivery on a diverse portfolio.

The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while complying with British Standards and Building

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical design for building services.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and energy-efficient solutions.
• Experience producing calculations, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical building services systems (HVAC, water services, plant).
• Produce detailed calculations, specifications, reports and drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and contractors for design integration.
• Ensure compliance with British Standards, Building Regulations and safety.
• Support projects from concept through to commissioning.
