Job summary

MWH Treatment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior CAD Technician (Mechanical) to strengthen the engineering team. Based in a suitable location within the UK, with hybrid working available, you will lead mechanical CAD production, coordination and QA of design deliverables for major water and wastewater projects.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate drawing outputs, champion BIM and digital delivery, ensure outputs meet CDM, project specifications and company

Qualifications

Senior Mechanical CAD professional with strong design coordination skills.
Experience leading CAD/BIM outputs to meet programme, budget and quality targets.
Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines and offshore resources.

Responsibilities

Lead production, coordination and QA of mechanical design drawings and 3D models.
Manage CAD workloads and ensure outputs align with programme and quality requirements.
Act as Digital Delivery Champion, promoting BIM and digital delivery practices.
Coordinate drawing production undertaken by offshore and remote design resources.
Ensure designs comply with CDM Regulations and project specifications.
Coordinate outputs with Civil, Electrical, ICA and Process disciplines.
Mentor junior CAD technicians and designers.
