CBRE UK is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our market‑leading Engineering Consultancy team. Qualifications

• Qualified to at least HNC/HND level.
• Ideally a Mechanical or Building Services Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Chartered status desirable.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience in asset management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical and experiential development of junior engineers.
• Undertake technical audits of maintenance contract service delivery and documentation.
• Provide advice on condition, pre-planned maintenance, repair and refurbishment options.
• Carry out surveys tailored to property acquisition advice or dilapidations.
• Comment on statutory requirements in building engineering services.
• Undertake feasibility studies, design and project management of refurbishment and new works.
• Formulate maintenance programmes and schedules.
• Analyze and report on maintenance contractors performance and costs.
• Chair periodic maintenance contract review meetings.
• Conduct regular client site visits.
• Assist in procuring, managing and monitoring planned maintenance of building services for clients.
• Assist Senior Engineers, Associate Directors and Director Asset Engineering in setting up maintenance contracts.
• Prepare asset registers by site surveys and compiling structured lists of M&E and related plant.
• Perform any other duties within Engineering Consultancy department scope.
