Job summary

CBRE in London seeks an Engineer/Senior Engineer to join a team of nine professionals and two support staff in the heart of the West End. You will work on technical due diligence, dilapidation, life cycle and asset verification surveys for investor and occupier clients ranging from international funds to PLCs.

The role involves defect diagnosis, PPM schedules, and maintenance auditing across office and operational real estate in London and the South East.

Qualifications

• Recent Chartered Engineer with some commercial surveying experience.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, life safety and public health installations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build client relationships.
• Willingness to travel within the UK & Europe.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the successful implementation and delivery of professional building services engineering within the London Engineering Consultancy.
• Manage client and project teams to deliver high quality, timely building services instructions profitably.
• Deliver surveys and reports from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to purchasers and occupiers technical due diligence reviews and wider specialist consultancy reports.
• Prepare dilapidation schedules and support negotiations for Landlord or Tenant.
• Prepare asset verification and life cycle plans/forward maintenance registers.
• Prepare performance specifications, run tender processes, and administer refurbishment projects.
• Comply with CBRE policies and management systems.
• Support department business plans and revenue targets.
