Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical building services design and delivery.
• Strong communicator with ability to lead design teams.
• Knowledge of ESG initiatives such as BREEAM, MEES, NABERS.
• HNC/HND or higher; degree in mechanical/building services.
• Chartered status desirable.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical designer with ability to lead designs and make technical decisions.
• Experience of leading Building Services projects.
• Work across design teams collaboratively, with or as the MEP lead.
• Assist with development of junior staff in Engineering Consultancy.
• Deliver and audit calculations, models and drawings using industry software.
• Comment on performance and compliance with building services requirements.
• Provide technical quality assurance of designs and reports.
• Undertake feasibility studies and project management of refurbishment and new works.
• Regular client site visits.
• Support the team to grow the Engineering Consultancy business.
