Job summary

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (NMC) registration is essential.
- Degree level qualification is essential.
- Leadership or management qualification is desirable.
- Masters level education is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing leadership for safe, high-quality care across inpatient/outpatient services.
- Lead nursing and support staff, including workforce planning, recruitment, retention and development.
- Maintain clinical governance through risk management, incidents, complaints, audits and QI.
- Monitor service performance and ensure compliance with Trust policies and standards.
- Champion patient-centred care and respond to feedback to drive improvements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support service development and efficiency.
- Provide visible clinical leadership and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support planning and delivery of service transformation and resource use.
