Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Field Technician for its Infrastructure division in Milton Keynes. The role combines field and laboratory testing, requiring hands-on oversight of tests and data interpretation to support major construction projects.

You will work independently and as part of a team, with UKAS-accredited lab practices knowledge, a valid CSCS card, and a full UK driving license. Some travel away from home may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a UKAS accredited laboratory is required.
• Valid CSCS card is essential.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Performing and interpreting a wide range of laboratory and field-based tests.
• Maintaining equipment calibrations and reporting defects.
• Auditing, training and development of site technicians.
