Job summary

SOCOTEC UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Materials Technician (Field & Laboratory) to support our Infrastructure division. You will perform laboratory and field tests, maintain equipment, and help ensure UKAS practices are followed.

The role requires flexibility to travel or work away from home as required, a driving licence, and CSCS card; join a team delivering testing, inspection and certification across national projects.

Qualifications

• Background in construction materials testing.
• Knowledge of UKAS accredited laboratory practices.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Performing and interpreting a wide range of laboratory and field-based tests
• Maintaining equipment calibrations and reporting defects
• Auditing, training and development of site technicians
