SOCOTEC UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Materials Technician to support our Infrastructure division. You will perform laboratory and field-based tests and help maintain site equipment in a flexible role.

You'll work independently and with a team, with travel to sites across the UK. A background in construction materials testing and knowledge of UKAS practices is essential; CSCS card and full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a UKAS accredited laboratory.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Performing and interpreting a wide range of laboratory and field-based tests
• Maintaining equipment calibrations and reporting defects
• Auditing, training and development of site technicians
