SOCOTEC Building Control Limited is seeking a Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our Materials Testing unit in the UK. You will support testing of construction materials, learn QA procedures, and develop skills in a real laboratory environment.

No prior experience required as full training is provided. GCSE English and Maths are expected, and a proactive, safety-focused approach will help you grow within our Infrastructure team.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required as full training given.
• GCSE English and Maths required.
• Experience of laboratory testing of construction materials.
• Health & safety focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Testing of construction materials.
• Completion of test sheets, including all calculations.
• Production of reports in line with QA systems.
