Goodfellow in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, is recruiting a Materials Solutions Lead to own the most complex, high-value opportunities from first enquiry through to close. You will translate customer needs into engineered materials solutions and coordinate specialists across technical, sourcing and quality functions.

The role combines deep materials expertise with commercial delivery, leading proposals, pricing and negotiations, and developing colleagues within the Materials Solutions team.

Formación

• STEM degree in materials science, engineering, chemistry or closely related discipline.
• Substantial experience in technical or solution sales in advanced materials or related B2B environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex, technically-led sales cycles and closing high-value deals.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.

Responsabilidades

• Taking full ownership of the most complex, high-value materials opportunities from qualification through to commercial close.
• Understanding and interpreting customers' technical requirements and translating them into deliverable materials solutions.
• Directing and coordinating technical, sourcing and quality colleagues to build and deliver each solution.
• Leading proposals, pricing, negotiation and close - maintaining momentum through longer, technically-led sales cycles.
• Partnering with account managers to provide technical and commercial expertise on their complex customer opportunities.
