Job summary

Goodfellow is recruiting a Materials Solutions Lead to own complex, high-value opportunities from first enquiry through to close. Based in Huntingdon, the role combines technical insight with commercial leadership in a senior, strategically important position.

The successful candidate will translate customer needs into materials solutions, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and drive proposals and pricing across long, technically-led sales cycles.

Qualifications

• STEM degree in materials science, engineering, chemistry or related field is essential.
• Substantial experience in technical or solution sales in a B2B materials environment is essential.
• Proven ability to close high-value, technically-led sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own complex, high-value materials opportunities from qualification to commercial close.
• Translate customer requirements into deliverable materials solutions.
• Lead proposals, pricing, negotiation and close with momentum.
• Coordinate technical, sourcing and quality colleagues to deliver solutions.
• Support growth and development of the Materials Solutions team.
