Energy Jobline CVL seeks an experienced Materials Solutions Lead in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The role offers hybrid working (3–4 days on-site) with a salary of £55,000–£65,000 plus commission.

You will manage high-value technical sales opportunities, translating complex requirements into tailored materials solutions alongside Account Managers. We value individuals who can lead cross-functional teams, drive proposals, and close deals while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Materials Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related STEM discipline.
• Proven track record in technical sales and commercial roles within advanced materials or related sectors.
• Experience leading proposals, pricing strategies, negotiations, and contract closure.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, high-value opportunities from qualification through to commercial close.
• Translate customer requirements into practical, technically sound solutions.
• Lead proposals, pricing strategies, and commercial negotiations to secure new business.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions and maintain momentum through long sales cycles.
• Mentor colleagues and support broader team development.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement.
