Job summary

United Infrastructure Transmission and Distribution is seeking a Senior Materials & Logistics Specialist to support multiple UK sites, ensuring efficient receipt, storage and movement of materials. You will liaise with the Supply Chain, client teams and contractors to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with company procedures.

The role offers meaningful projects across the UK transmission and distribution sector, with development plans and a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years materials/logistics experience with progression to a management role.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Qualification to ISCED Level 3 and relevant handling licences.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain warehousing/materials control at the site/facility.
• Coordinate efficient warehouse operations and labour utilisation.
• Allocate, control, issue and marshal materials across locations and suppliers.
• Produce shipping documents and update procurement system with receipts.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with clients and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with the Supply Chain Code of Conduct and project plans.
