Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Material Control specialist to lead planning and scheduling for our programmes. You will own MRP data, drive process improvements and partner with purchasing, planning and manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and balanced inventory.

You will manage supplier communications, model demand/supply scenarios and implement lean processes to support growth and programme complexity while maintaining budgeted targets.

Qualifications

• Experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional governance.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver on-time performance.
• Strong analytics, with ability to present business cases and strategies.
• Familiarity with SAP, material planning and manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery schedules and lifecycle planning for programmes.
• Own and optimize MRP data to balance demand and supply.
• Lead implementation of new processes and KPI reporting.
• Support supplier schedules, capacity constraints and changes.
• Collaborate with purchasing, planning, and manufacturing to reduce obsolescence.
• Model scenarios to assess demand/supply impacts and risks.
