Job summary

McLaren Automotive Limited is seeking a Material Planning & Controller to oversee supplier logistics and inbound material flow at the McLaren Production Centre in Woking. The role requires strong SAP/MRP experience, Excel data interpretation, and the ability to manage risks and stock to support production line availability.

You will liaise between Material Control, Internal Logistics, and external suppliers, ensuring OTIF deliveries and optimal inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience using MRP and SAP
• Advanced Excel and data interpretation capabilities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of supplier logistics to ensure efficient inbound material flow
• Establish proactive supplier processes to identify and mitigate risks
• Represent supply chain risks and opportunities for management reviews
• Collaborate with engineering and logistics to coordinate stock and obsolescence risk
• Maintain accurate MRP data to ensure inventory accuracy and stability
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in internal logistics processes
