Job summary

Haskoning is seeking a senior structural/civil marine engineer to lead design and analysis for maritime structures in ports and shipyards. You will manage small to medium projects or act as Technical Manager on larger schemes, guiding junior staff and liaising with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and conceptual abilities to lead design from concept to construction-ready stage.
Excellent written and oral communication for client and stakeholder engagement.
Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and overseas.
Mentor junior staff including engineers and graduates.

Responsibilities

Prepare designs and analyses for maritime structures in ports and shipyards.
Carry out inspections and surveys.
Produce design calculations and review others' calculations.
Check and review models and drawings before issue.
Prepare Bills of Quantities, Contract Documents, and Specifications.
Undertake structural analyses and reporting.
