Job summary

Haskoning UK invites a Senior Maritime Civil Engineer to lead design and delivery of port and shipyard projects, applying steel, concrete, and timber expertise to complex maritime structures.

You will work across inception through construction, liaising with multi-disciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff while pursuing innovative solutions that meet international standards. Occasional travel within the UK and abroad is expected.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience in planning and design of maritime structures.
• Familiarity with international maritime/structural standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop design solutions for maritime civil structures.
• Carry out inspections and surveys.
• Produce and review structural calculations.
• Create outline models and CAD drawings (Revit preferred).
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, contracts, and specifications.
• Undertake structural analyses and reporting.
• Coach junior staff and manage project teams.
