Job summary

Haskoning is seeking a Senior Maritime Civil Engineer to lead design solutions for maritime civil structures in ports and shipyards. You will develop calculations, CAD models (Revit where possible), and prepare contract documents while liaising with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role offers scope for mentoring junior staff, collaboration on international projects, and opportunities across UK offices with hybrid working patterns. Prior BIM Level 2 familiarity is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Education in Civil/Structural Engineering (BSc/BEng/MSc) or equivalent.
• Experience designing maritime structures.
• Familiarity with international standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop design solutions for maritime civil structures in ports and shipyards.
• Produce design calculations and review calculations by others.
• Prepare outlines models, drawings, and CAD details (Revit where possible).
• Prepare draft Bills of Quantities, Contract Documents, and Specifications.
• Prepare reports and presentations.
• Undertake structural analyses and reporting.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
