Job summary

Haskoning is seeking a senior structural/civil marine engineer to lead design and analysis for maritime civil structures, including ports and shipyards. You will liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and act as Project Manager on smaller projects or Technical Manager on larger programs, delivering design from inception to construction.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• ICE training scheme participation desired.
• Experience in maritime structures and shipyards.
• Familiar with international maritime and structural standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs and analysis for maritime and port structures.
• Carry out inspections and surveys.
• Produce design calculations and review others' work.
• Review models and drawings before issuing.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and specifications.
• Undertake structural analyses and reporting.
