Job summary

AECOM’s Ports and Maritime team is seeking a Senior Maritime Engineer with a civil/structural background to lead technical work on UK and international projects. The role supports a 100+ year track record in maritime infrastructure and offers a flexible hybrid work model across the UK.

You will design marine structures, mentor staff, review specifications, and contribute to tenders and project delivery while upholding standards in BS, Eurocodes, and industry best practice.

Qualifications

• MEng or BEng in civil or structural engineering.
• Able to obtain SC security clearance.
• Experience presenting calculations to a high standard and using the listed software.

Responsibilities

• Design structures in the Marine Environment (quay walls, piers, jetties, revetment, breakwaters, fendering, scour protection, linkspan supports, dolphins).
• Plan, prepare and deliver，高quality deliverables and meet project milestones.
• Review and comment on design, drawings and specifications to ensure timely results.
• Mentor staff to achieve technical solutions and support knowledge sharing.
• Assist in tender preparation including programme, cost estimates and resourcing.
